Q: Does the app need my location?

A: Location is used to show nearby specials. The App uses your location for app functionality to determine nearby Happy Hours (and may use it for product personalization). 

Q: What info can be linked to me (per App Store privacy)?

A: The App Store privacy section lists data that may be linked to you, including location, user content, search history, and identifiers (e.g., User ID). 

Q: How do I keep listings accurate?

A: Upvote accurate posts, downvote outdated/incorrect ones, and report outdated info so the community can keep the map current. 

Q: Can I request new features?

A: Yes — send ideas anytime via support email. 

Troubleshooting

If you’re having issues, try the following:

Force close the app and relaunch Restart your device Confirm your iOS/iPadOS version meets the current minimum requirement (the App Store listing currently shows iOS/iPadOS 26.0+).  Reinstall the app from the App Store

If the map is empty or you’re not seeing nearby specials:

Check that Location Services are enabled for Happy Map App Try again from a different area (coverage depends on community postings)
